What is Porcupine Search & Rescue?

Porcupine Plain Search & Rescue is a local body of community volunteers established in 1998
for the express purpose of providing assistance, when called upon, by the Royal Canadian Mounted
Police to provide a more effective response in the search for and rescue of any lost, injured, or
stranded person in urban, outdoor, or "Wilderness" Environments or in the case of a disaster.

We are a chapter of Search and Rescue Saskatchewan Association of Volunteers(SARSAV).

Porcupine Plain Search and Rescue meets  monthly. Meeting dates are determined for the next
meeting at each meeting and published on our Website, Facebook Page, and distributed to members
by email. Please check back regularly for current meeting dates or check our events on facebook.
Our calendar lists events and training  and the Gallery has some pictures of the group in action!
